    Tolaram Group is proud to announce the signing of the Concession Agreement for Tolaram Lekki Port with the Nigerian Ports Authority on April 21, 2011.
    The agreement licences Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise to build, own and operate for 45 years a multi-purpose, deep-sea port, which will be completed in 2015.

The Tolaram Lekki Port project being developed within the Lagos Free Trade Zone is a unique and ambitious initiative to set up a world class, modern integrated port in Nigeria with dedicated terminals for containers, dry bulk and liquid cargoes.

The port will provide an efficient maritime gateway to Nigeria and will be developed in phases to meet the burgeoning trade to and from the country. The size and scale of the port along with its state-of-the-art facilities will make it an ideal transshipment hub capable of servicing the entire West African coast.

Efficient custom clearance, cargo handling and storage infrastructure are key facets of the port ensuring seamless transfer of goods. The port will conform to IMO and other regulatory standards.

The Lagos Free Trade Zone (LFTZ) is being developed as a multi-product and logistics hub for the entire West African Region. Strategically located 60km east of Lagos, the zone is well connected by road, sea and by air. When fully developed, it will be spread over an area of 220 hectares, of which 90 hectares will comprise of the port, and will house a number of world scale petroleum, petrochemical and agri-commodity manufacturing complexes.
